You cannot reach your character's full potential in a single play through, you do not have access to the world that was included in the multiplayer mode, and games like this NEED multiplayer capabilities for replay value. Only having single player mode is nothing more than a large DEMO. Servers are no longer up and running which is nothing new considering the age of the game, but there was still LAN and IP playability.
